A victory for hate crime hysteria - Dharun Ravi found guilty by Jay Knott (03/19/12)       ⇌ (Exaggeration of Hate Crimes)

My warnings of the dangers of hate-crime hysteria have been proven right. Rutgers student Dharun Ravi and his friend Molly Wei posted offensive messages describing how they reacted to seeing Ravi's roommate, Tyler Clementi, making out with another man. Clementi then drove to the Washington Bridge and jumped to his death.

The messages were honest accounts of Wei and Ravi's feelings. They were not politically correct feelings.

Now Ravi is being punished for them. A victory for political correctness in the land of the free.

Even real hate crimes are cynically used to try to restrict our freedom (03/20/12) by Jay Knott: A Gardian hack tries to use a series of racist murders in France to amalgamate opinions with murder: "Today in Toulouse we have been given a horrific illustration of where such delirious cynicism can lead" ...
